Textile Art & Me

As a fifth generation dressmaker, I was born to sew. I am and have always been inspired by textiles. From the earliest age I can recall creating from the scraps on the floor of my Omi's dressmaking room.
I think I might have even re-modelled a few items which weren't intended to be cut into! Scissors should never be left in reach of children!

I have been "fondling fabric" for over 30 years. An un-cut piece of cloth can provide so many
different possibilities, often too many to make that first cut!

A small collection of finished works, including quilts and wall hangings, omiage and such are
on display in my home, and provide me with the inspiration and drive to keep creating.
